Dear Neighbors:

Per Item 5 in Diana's Summary of LPOA Monthly Board Meeting (7/12/2010), this morning I set up an appointment with a gardener serving Winston area, Marvin Cabrera, to remove the ivies on and around the pillar at Winston and Junipero Serra. Including Marvin, 3 gardeners worked on this job. All the ivy vines and roots have been removed. The ground covers around the pillar have been cleared. The weeds at the curb have also been cut, so the street corner looks sharp. The whole red-brick pillar once again emerges clean, except some remnant ivy marks. Item 5 is now completed.
