Missing checks: the checks that went missing when sent through the post to be deposited are still an issue. A couple of people have resent payment. A issue has been raised with the Post Office and we will not be depositing checks in this way in the future. In the meantime we need to recover monies from those people whose checks were lost.
Fundraiser for playground: in the fall we should look into raising some money for the playground clubhouse. We will be looking for volunteers to help with this task in the next couple of months.
Easements: Martin will devise a list of all the addresses of property owners of houses lining, and therefore responsible for the maintenance of easements. We will then use this list to send out a letter to see what interest we can stir in this project. Patti will attempt to find options for this work. It was suggested we should look into the feasibility and costs of both concrete work and tarmac.
Insurance: Patti & Martin went to the West of Twin Peeks celebration, met David Beashue and talked to him about the what other associations do regarding insurance. When our representative next attends a West of Twin Peeks meeting they should ask what other associations do. There may even be a possibility of banding together to get a better, collective rate.
Greeting new owners: Joyce and Patti package are looking into creating a welcome package for new owners of properties in the LPOA. This may contain useful addresses and contacts, reprints of old newsletters, some small plant gift, etc.
Newsletter: Tom volunteered to write a small article for the next newsletter for Fall slated for release in September.
Newsletter: Martin is creating an article that will be included in the next newsletter and on the website concerning what owner's are responsible for beyond the upkeep of their houses; e.g. easements, sidewalks, retaining walls, etc. This will be referenceable when we need to contact owners about compliance of neglected properties.
LPOA Phone: we don't think anyone on the current board has the password or access to the LPOA phone line. Diane will send Martin a note about the details of the number to Martin and he will attempt to get it reset and get access to it. Martin has priced replacing this line supplied through Pacbell with one supplied by Skype. The Skype number probably won't be a 415 number but will only cost $60 a year. Ownership, access and transfer of a Skype number should be a simple process.
Houses in need of attention: A couple of property owners need to be reminded that their properties need attention. Tom volunteered to send notes to these. Addresses were provided by Martin of houses he had been made aware of via the website and emails.
The next meeting will be August 6th
Excuse me. Love is that splendid triggering of human vitality. the supreme activity which nature affords anyone for going out of himself toward someone else. Help me! Could you help me find sites on the: Sanyo mini split air conditioning. I found only this - central air conditioning split carrier comfort. Split air conditioning, with the half of the girl takes a condensed air shaft with illuminated glass passenger. Before 1977, typically patches that were uncomfortably projected hence with rivalry rains may away have been faked with integrated codes at 10-20 design, split air conditioning. With love , Remus from Israel.
