Dear Friends of Junipero Serra Playground:

Here is a brief overview from Meghan Tiernan from Rec and Park re: the JSP construction.

There's a lot of paperwork and submittals related to construction going on but I realize it doesn't look like progress in the field. There were some design questions regarding steel details that have been resolved and the steel is now being fabricated and should be ready in 2-3 weeks. Once the steel arrives things should really start moving. The Contractor is currently installing anchor bolts and there was a progress building inspection by DBI last week. The Contractor is planning to pour the concrete this Thursday, August 2.
