Dear Community Member--

The Draft Environmental Impact Report, which evaluates the environmental impacts of the Draft Master Plan, presents measures to mitigate any significant environmental impacts, and evaluates the feasibility of alternatives to the proposed project, was released to the community on February 1st. The Draft has been available for your review and the University would welcome your input through April 2nd.

In order to elicit feedback, two public hearings will take place on Tuesday, March 6th at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., respectively. The hearings will take place in Jack Adams Hall at the Cesar Chavez Student Center , 1650 Holloway Avenue , at the SF State campus. At the hearings, members of the public will hear a presentation about the plan and will be invited to share their oral comments about the Draft EIR.

The Draft Master Plan and Draft EIR can both be viewed and downloaded at http://sfsumasterpl an.org. Additionally, reference copies are available in the SF State J. Paul Leonard Library, as well as in the San Francisco Public Library branches noted below. Paper copies of the Draft EIR may also be purchased for the cost of duplication by contacting me at (415) 338-6880. Copies of the Draft EIR on CD are available free of charge.
